You cant prove islam by quoting the Quran. You certainly cannot prove or disprove religion by science. It is only by the assurance from the Holy Ghost that we may come to know that God is. They were accused of going after "another gospel". It was only in this century that they even halfway bonded. Langfordc ::: Favorites dart - In a very weak sense, you are correct, I can't go back and prove that Joseph Smith started Mormonism - because he died in 1844. I can however, make an educated decision based on Joseph's criminal record, personal beliefs and writings that he started Mormonism with ulterior motives. So, it's very difficult for me to have any respect for anyone who chooses to believe in Mormonism -- and I sure as hell wouldn't want a Mormon running our country. darthmills ::: Favorites i said religion cannot be proved by man. people either inherit belief from their parents and never question it - or they recieve personal revelation from God, through the Holy Ghost whether it is true or not. Brought against him by people, like you, who didn't like the fact that this new religion was spreading like wildfire. I don't care if you choose to believe a "religion" started by a guy for personal reasons.
