ET503- OK we can enter at kilo, for Et503 ATC-Thats what I need to get out of you, we talked like six times! Straight ahead and hold short of hotel sir ET503-Staight ahead hold short of hotel, roger ATC- Asiana 222 turn right here, turn left onto 22 right and hold short of julliet ATC- Assian 222? Asiana- ? ATC- Turn right, left onto 22 right and hold short of julliet Asiana- Ok, right turn onto 22 right, holding short julliet ATC- Echo Tango 503 fallow Asiana, hold short of julliet on the runway ET503- Roger, fallow the Asiana and next time I would like you to be polite with me, ATC - OK but If I got to talk to you six times and I got other people I got to talk to and you dont understand what im sayin ET503 - You know what IM saying? Asiana - [unreadable] ATC - Alright stand by ATC - Echo tango 503 turn right, when you turn right you'll see a regional jet to your right, let him go in and turn onto the ramp ET503 - Roger right, give way to the regional jet to the right and onto the ramp Echo tango 503 ATC - Asiana 222 you keep moving the airplane when I tell you to stop, theres an airplane off to your right Asiana - [unreadable] ATC - The ramp does not control the taxiway sir. squonk61 ::: Favorites Hey cook1993, I'd rather have an ATC guy be an 'asshole' and do his job keeping all of us safe than be polite and diplomatic and run the risk of an accident. You all want to enter and live here, but as long as you keep your culture and language? kbatltwr ::: Favorites I was an ATC for 32 years, which includes ZME, MEM and my last 20 years at ATL & A80. The one that sticks out in my career the most was at Memphis Center when I issued traffic to an AERO MEXICO at 33,000 feet that he had traffic at 12 o'clock and 15 miles opposite direction at 31,000. NozeDive ::: Favorites people need to put their bias aside and understand that neither pilots nor controllers have an easy job. All it takes is for one person to start to lose their cool in a high stress environment, and then stuff goes down hill. NozeDive ::: Favorites Just to clarify, when I said "bias", I mean bias towards pilots, or bias towards controllers. I wasn't talking about people from one country or people from another.
