B&W stop motion animation from the 1950s, familiar to anyone who was a kid back in the 70s, when WGN played it all the time during the holiday season. Usually they aired it alongside "Hardrock, Coco and Joe" and "Frosty the Snowman."

I haven't heard this song in over 40 years. Thanks for posting it. I don't remember the cartoon, just the song. I grew up in southern Wisconsin in the 50s/60s, too far from Chicago to see it on WGN.

When we reach a certain age in life all the innocence of childhood are gone and the fond memories we keep only in our hearts.These little clips keep the memories alive and well preserved in our minds.Thank you Channel 6 WJAC for letting those memories come channeling back to way back when..

This brings tears to my eyes and makes me greatful for the life I had as a kid. Ray Rayner, Garfield Goose on WGN (Channel 9)it made X-mas that much more special. It sucks being an adult...!! Absolutely great. THANKS.!!
