Description:

Courtesy of http://tasvideos.org/ A tool-assisted speedrun made by me and AKA (known as Mitjitsu on youtube). This run beats the game in a mere time of 6:47, beating the older run by over 8 minutes. This improvement was due to a new glitch being used in the basement which allowed us to access Dire, Dire Docks with 0 stars. Anyone else may upload this video, provided none of the disclaimers are removed. Anyone who knows of someone who violates these procedures, please contact myself or AKA, and that video will be removed, and the person's account will possibly be deleted. In short, don't steal credit for this video. This run was made on an emulator, with slow speeds, frame-by-frame shooting, and re-recordings. It is not meant to show skill, but rather the game pushed to its limits, because it is purely a form of entertainment. Note: This is the official video of the run. The old one has been deleted and replaced by this one for quality purposes.

Pshwah. This is easy. I beat Super Mario 64 on my first try in 3 minutes, twelve seconds, and 79 picoseconds and I was in the first grade and I had a hand tied my back and a blinded eye. What a noob this guy is.

kudos, sir. was wondering what kind of hours is put into creating a piece of art such as this? do you go thru it frame by frame and test different paths, effectively making it a simple 'trial & error' style approach? im a Q3 CPMA trickjumper, and i am generally intrested in 'tricking' of any kind. :) ps. my fav TAS video. :D

I think using exploits really doesn't count as a proper finish. But either way you pulled those off skillfully. Zomgosh the last Bowser level was off the hook!
