Wow, I always thought it was much more complex then that. But your video gave all the detail needed and it did only toke 5 minutes like you said. TY cant wait to see more

Glad you like it. Yes I've made meteors but the smudge tool is limited. I use a combination of smudge, linear blur, polygonal marquee, and especially the airbrush tool to create a glowing effect. Experiment!

hey tht was an awesome tutorial :D hav u evr tried smudgin the back wiv a brush bout the same size as the planet 2 make it in2 a meteorite? and then use lots of smaller smudges to make little flame things like you did pointing towards the tail sorry for the comment tut. lol :D

Couldn't agree more. I grew up watching his show. It was somehow captivating to watch him take a blank canvas and make these beautiful landscapes. They really don't look so impressive in hindsight but I guess what his paintings lacked in detail he made up for with his mild mannered enthusiasm.

Yeah Bob Ross! He must have crept into my subconciousness. The original video tutor. I wasn't kind about his paintings but looking back he introduced painting to amateurs and made it easy. He sure was a kind soul. RIP Bob.
